Care Team Nurse Appointments
We’re pleased to announce the addition of two Care Team nurses who are now working alongside Dr. Giddey and Dr. van Staden: Rylie Fedorus and Diane Neumann.
The nurses work closely with your physician and can help with:
- Chronic conditions and routine refills (blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, asthma/COPD, oral birth control, etc.)
- Lab requisitions and screening forms
- Medical forms and paperwork
- Annual health and screening coordination
- Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (age 65+)
- Follow-up after an ER visit or specialist consultation
For patient’s of Dr van Staden and Dr Giddey, annual health checks will now start with a Care Team nurse for the initial visit. This can be done in person or by phone. The nurse will update your chart, order appropriate labs, and help streamline the process before you see your physician.
